This equipment monitors activity and can respond to it remotely. This can be applied to the remote monitoring of a pipeline in a location where access is difficult, such as a desert or snow bound terrain. The flow of liquid through the pipeline can be monitored and if necessary valves can be operated remotely based on information collected.
